Outreach

Anonymous Morris are keen to give young people the opportunity to enjoy morris dancing.

We work with Scouts, Guides, Schools and Youth Groups.

We offer a session between one and two hours in length. In that time we will perform a few dances and talk about the origins of morris dancing, before handing out sticks to everyone and teach a simple morris dance. This includes the adults!

Our normal performance fee is £100-£200 depending on venue, duration, parking costs, etc., but this greatly reduced for youth groups, such as Scouts and Guides, who want to learn how to morris dance.

We also have contacts who can teach maypole and longsword dancing.

Please contact bagman@anonymousmorris.co.uk if you'd like us to come and dance with your young people.
