Come along this Thursday, from 7:30pm – 9:30pm
Old Town First School, Poole. All Welcome.

Who We Are

Anonymous Morris are a young Border Morris side based in Poole.

We practice at 7:30 on Thursday evenings during the autumn and winter months at Old Town First School. (In the hall at the back – don’t try and use the front door.)

The school is within easy walk of Poole bus and railway station, and has free parking in the school playground.

We’re a mixed side, that means that we welcome both men and women as members. We’re also open to all ethnic groups, sexual orientations and religions (including Jedi).

Although we’re aimed primarily at the 16-30 age group, we accept dancers and musicians outside this age range as long as they can keep up with our energetic dance style.

All potential new members get the first week free – so you find out if you like morris dancing without any need to commit instantly. Currently subs are £4.00 per session, but that will lower as the side grows. There’s a discount if you pay a full season’s subs in advance.

During the summer months, we dance at local pubs or on Poole Quay on Thursday evenings, and attend many events at weekends. We're often invited to folk festivals and have a great time there.

We do have a constitution, which you’re welcome to read.
